Apple's AirTag is a GPS tracking device. AirTag is a key finder that assists people in locating personal items such as keys, purses, clothing, small electrical devices, and vehicles. AirTags use Apple's crowdsourced Find My network to track down lost objects, which is expected to grow to one billion devices by early 2021. Find My devices detect and anonymously report emitted Bluetooth signals. AirTags work with any iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch that runs iOS 14.5 or later. Users can use UWB (ultra-wideband) technology to more precisely locate items utilizing the built-in U1 chip on iPhone 11 or later (excluding iPhone SE 2nd generation). AirTag was released on April 30.
